Fashion Madness on 5th Ave

23Apr09

FIRST STOP! (of course)

The boyfriend and I HAD to check out Louis Vuitton’s new window display on 5th Ave. Last years display was outrageous and crazy. With a scenario of many security cameras  scrutinizing a tall display case that was empty and cracked with shattered pieces on the floor.

However, this years display is more laid back and showing their new collection with the LV Spicy Sandals with many LV Flight bags and wallets.

SECOND STOP!

As we were working our way down on 5th Ave., my boyfriend points out this unusual scene for Henri Bendel. I think it’s very creative and interesting to look at.

THIRD STOP!

Continuing our lovely walk in this crappy weather, the strappy beige shoes stopped me from walking. I usually don’t wear heels (mostly flats) especially with T-staps like the one in the picture. But damn, it would look incredibly nice with a light pink cocktail dress. No?

I hate flat bags.

 FOURTH STOP!

Matthew Williamson for H&M … hm, when I saw his collection in the window display, I was telling myself, “Wait, wtfuczzile is this?!” LOL I happened to like some clothes IN the lookbook like the tan leather cropped jacket. They were same garments but had a different feel to them. Maybe because the way H&M on 5th Ave had set up the clothes was undeniably dull. There was no flavor to the clothes. So I hated it.

— JUST LIKE TOPSHOP! These limited designed clothes are not going to be ever again! Once and gone! So ladies don’t get greedy with the violet blazer or with the tan cropped leather jacket; THE WILL BE LIMITED TO TWO PIECES OF THE SAME STYLE! (picture above)

SO WHICH LADIES ARE GOING TO BE THERE TODAY?!
Now, it’s in only selected stores. I’m not sure which H&M stores will carry them but the one on 5th ave. is a definite 😉

FIFTH STOP!

Pictures explain a thousand words.

^ LOL. hilarous. OOOo it’s actually then, not than. Americans. lol

LAST STOP!

This is what we saw on our way to the 7 train.
